Established in 1984, HINSON is a family-run business. Operating from our workshop in Milton Keynes, our skilled master craftsmen create the highest quality, tailor-made products on the market today. We offer our customers the freedom to choose their very own products.
With years of experience working with timber and the joinery trade, when calling HINSON for a visit, you will not be confronted by a salesman. It will be one of the owners and a hands-on Joiner himself, ready to advise you on your project from an experienced point of view while taking on board all of your objectives, ensuring a personal, professional service.
Meet the Hinson Custom Made Team
Bernie - Owner and Joiner
I have worked in the joinery industry for 56 years, and in 1984, I decided to start Hinson Custom Made. In the beginning, I was working with a street light wired up in a farm building with two spindle machines! I am proud of how far the company has come. I enjoy motorbiking and watching football when I am not working.
Chris - Owner and Joiner
I worked in the industry for 22 years, and for 20 of those, I have worked alongside Bernie. When I am not working hard, I enjoy travelling and mountain biking.
Sean - Carpenter
I have worked in the industry for 22 years, from an apprentice to a site foreman and now a fitter for Hinson. I like the outdoors, with fishing and mountain biking being my two hobbies. I enjoy working on all projects but mostly ones that require thinking outside of the box. That way, you can be a little more creative.
Tebor - Installer
I have worked in the industry on and off for many years. I like falconry, sailing, kayaking and spending time with my family. What I like about the job is each one is different.
Layla - Office Manager
I have enjoyed my 1st year working for Hinson. A steep but enjoyable learning curve being new to the industry. I like dealing with the customers and receiving comments about how delighted they are to have Hinson Custom Made items after the installation, especially when they see the before and after photos. Being creative and offering new ideas where I can is refreshing. I love to travel and be outdoors, especially experiencing new places and adventures with my family.
